Due to recent wet weather, the contractor has been unable to return to the site to complete the remaining work. The contractor is committed to finishing the project as soon as the site is dry enough to allow for safe and workable conditions. 

At this time, approximately 2 to 3 months of construction work remain. This estimate does not include the required 90-day sod establishment period.

Once resumed, ongoing work includes continued installation of concrete pathways, play areas, site grading throughout the park, landscaping irrigation, planting, and soccer field sod installation.

The contractor has installed the restroom facility and completed a majority of the utilities, with the exception of irrigation. The work pictured involved placement of concrete pathways, installation of mainline irrigation, fencing for the sport court, and installation of playground equipment and shade structure.

The new 5.4-acre park will include sport court for basketball and futsal, multi-use field for soccer and picnicking, sand volleyball court, ping pong table and cornhole goals, and two play structures (one for ages 2-5 and one for ages 5-12), a parking lot and additional access points at all sides of the site for pedestrian access. Also, the Project will include a restroom building, shade shelter, barbeque grills, drinking fountains, and benches. The plan pictured provides the vision for the park once completed.
